Fun with photos for the new album

We're still debating a title for our new CD - the working title is "Together," - because we're both singing on it and we're a duo etc ...  but we're both feeling it's not quite right.  There's a couple of days yet to decide.   But apart from that, progress is well on its way - we're in the final days of mixing and getting artwork and photos done alongside that.   It's a bit like tidying in all the loose threads on a massive patchwork quilt - great fun.

It's hard getting photos of a couple that don't look like wedding photos - so I wanted to share a few of the fun photos we got - probably never be used for anything serious.

I have a condition called Sjogrens Syndrome which leaves my eyes very sensitive to light.  For the last CD cover I wore sunglasses and felt really stupid - but this photographer, when I said I needed glasses, suggested Tom put them on as well. So we had a good laugh pretending to be the Blues Brothers - and turning out more like Peters and Lee as some smart alec suggested :)  Poor Tom's knees were wrecked having to come down to my height!

    Love the pictures Fil. What's Gaelic for Together? You could use that maybe.

      Thanks Jo :) Yes it'd be confusing - it's pronounced leh khayleh - it'd be lovely to use something in Irish but we've no Irish songs on this CD - they're all originals, a lot about here though, but you've set me thinking in a direction.

    Hi Fil - love the photos ... and yes I've heard of Sjogrens ... not easy, but manageable. Good luck with the CD and finding the right title to draw people in ... it's great you're feeling better and thus more creative once again ... cheers Hilary

    Oh, that's so sweet! I am returning today to my blog activities, though it will still be a bit slow for some more time. I loved the pictures, dear Fil, you look amazing! Everybody has to come to our height :) I am sure he didn't mind :) Well, Together seems a nice title, but lately I am obsessed with "Love builds a happy home" :) Souls together (translated) in(to) songs... I don't know, I a now curious to know the title :) I didn't know about the syndrome's name. It's maybe because you have light blue eyes; I have problems with bright days, for having the medium green eyes - you saw them - but not light blue like yours, so it must be terrible without shades. I liked the idea of both wearing sunnies :) You two look so lovely! Hope you have a nice week!

    So lovely to hear about this! I didn't know about your eye condition! I have an eye condition called Morning Glory syndrome which many people don't know about! Always interesting to hear of others!!x
