We've been in the studio all day, finishing up a great guitar session for the new CD. Gerard Thompson has been doing the honours and his playing is just lovely. A lot of my own playing has stayed too, something I'm very pleased and just a tad proud of.
Rockpools and seagrass
Once we'd finished up Tom and I went out for a short walk on the beach - there's heat in the sun and a chance to get the camera out.
Lots of rock pools today ... brought me back to being a child and nosying around - and the seagrasses are starting to flower.
And a very low tide
So before we pack up the car to head over West to visit my Mum for the long weekend I thought I'd take a minute and wish you all a Bright and Restful weekend. Maybe the weather will be good enough for a picnic in the woods.
I love it when the tide goes out a long way and you can walk on sand which is usually way under the water. It's interesting what you can find on the beach at that time, once we found a deep sea starfish!
ReplyDeleteOh they are lovely pictures! Happy Easter back at you! Enjoy this beautiful holiday weekend :)
ReplyDeleteHi Fil - Happy Easter to you too .. love the tidal photos and the pools ... and have a lovely visit with your mother ... cheers Hilary

Well I was hoping for the sun but it's only just come out at the end of the day (which is why it is still light at almost 7:45 in the evening!) however I did drag my husband out for a walk around the botanical gardens which was lovely and will obviously get even better once more flowers come out later in the year :)
ReplyDeletewellI would love to take a walk in that world you show
ReplyDeletewarmish here but no longer hot as we move the other way to you and a very much needed thunderstorm and heavy shower last night which just topped off our beautiful family easter holiday.
