I love how the colours start to change at this time of the year .... the bluebells are nearly gone and the pinks are starting to take their turn .... even the May, the hawthorn blossom, has shades of pink in it. But still a lonely pansy is hanging on from last Autumn, showing its pretty face and keeping the link between Spring and Summer. And I have to keep a little bit of blue...

DeleteIt's interesting to see the predominant colours in nature as the weeks of the year go by and new flowers come into bloom. Lots of shades of pink together with white around here too. Beautiful photos Fil.

ReplyDeleteForget me nots are so pretty - I have none now and they used to self seed here - must get them back ... although I'm not a very dedicated gardener - I leave it to the flowers to do the work!!
DeleteBeautiful flowers! I love seeing everything finally coming out over here. The daffodils are finally gone and now other flowers are springing up. It's great to see all the greenery finally coming out and covering up the dead of winter. Truly amazing to watch.

DeleteLove the hawthorne blossom. Our garden is changing colour too with softer pinks, purples and blues as the Aquilegias take over the beds. It's a most gorgeous time of year:)
